I am fascinated by new technologies and their applications as well as economic potential. I am particularly curious about the people behind them and am happy if I can do my part to identify and promote potential in a dynamic and fast-moving environment. For me, goal-oriented cooperation in a team is enriching.

During my studies I first got to know the exciting work in a venture capital company. After starting my career in real estate project development, I was drawn back into the world of dynamic small businesses. As a part of an enthusiastic team, I was able to gain experience in what it means to be ahead of the market already over twenty years ago — electric cars were not yet marketable at that time. The move to the investor side allows me to develop the experience I have gained over the years on a daily basis and apply it to my portfolio work.

As an industrial engineer, I have a clear affinity for industrial topics and often see opportunities to use innovative solutions in order to simplify production processes, make them more sustainable, or exploit significant cost advantages. Although decision-making processes tend to be rather protracted, industrial topics can often be scaled well, if they are successfully integrated and provide companies with a stable basis for expansion. Founders from these areas impress me with their expertise in technology and target markets as well as their ability to develop creative and comprehensive solutions.
